Waterfront
Whether aircraft carriers, cruisers, cutters or submarines, they all have to be moored and/or maintained somewhere. Nova has traveled across the nation to provide wharves, piers and dry docks for the Navy and Coast Guard, the largest of which are the home ports for two of our nation's nuclear aircraft carriers. These projects are best characterized as building small cities to support a vessel while in port to include: concrete decks, utilities, power, fresh water, wastewater, telephones, etc. The projects also frequently involve support buildings, concrete, or steel pile driving and dredging.
