Nova Group, Inc., is a general engineering contractor with home offices and a fabrication facility in Napa, California. Nova’s project portfolio stretches throughout the United States covering 29 states, as well as internationally to Canada, Guam, Israel, Qatar, and Diego Garcia.

The geographic diversity of our operations testifies to our unique marketplace niches, installing hydrant fueling systems for the Air Force and National Guard on air bases under contract with either the Naval Facilities Engineering Command or the Corps of Engineers, and constructing wharves and piers for the Navy and Coast Guard.  We have also found civilian applications for our expertise, participating in commercial airport, energy, and waterfront projects at various times.

While most of our work is procured under our own name, we have at times participated in joint ventures where we could leverage our expertise by utilizing the financial and technical resources of other quality construction companies.  With the current DoD trend towards larger and more complex projects in our niche markets, joint venture participation will continue to be a desirable option in the years ahead.

Nova participates in several project delivery systems including design/build and design/bid/build as well as various procurement methodologies such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation to Bid (IFB) and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).
